Transforming Household Resilience in Vulnerable Environment (THRIVE) programme is being implemented by a consortium led by World Vision that includes, Farm Concern International, Vision Fund Malawi and World Vision Malawi with funding from multiple donors mobilized by World Vision US. The goal of the project is to improve livelihood and resilience of smallholder farmers in Nkhoma, Chilenje, Nthondo and Chikwina Mpamba. The objective of the programme is to have increased household incomes and productive assets, household adopting improved on-farm and off-farm natural resource management, increased resilience of household livelihood systems to shocks & disasters and smallholder farmers and their families transforming from dependency to an empowered World View.
